OshSU Teams Triumph at IT Festival in Kyrgyzstan
From November 19 to 22, the Gazprom Kyrgyzstan school in Bishkek hosted the IT FEST 2024 “CYBER KYRGYZSTAN” festival, featuring a diverse range of competitions, including hackathons, mobileography, robotics, eSports, and cybersecurity.
The event brought together over 500 students from more than 30 educational institutions across the country. Osh State University sent eight teams to compete, achieving remarkable results.
In the hackathon category, OshSU students clinched first place with their innovative program aimed at “Tourism Development.” The university’s robotics team also secured the top spot in the “ROBOT SUMO” competition and earned second place in the “Mission of Robotics Infinite Universe” tournament.
In the eSports category, OshSU students won a coveted spot in an upcoming world-class competition. They also excelled in the cybersecurity challenges, demonstrating outstanding performance.
The festival aimed to unite professionals, startups, investors, students, and tech enthusiasts to exchange knowledge, showcase cutting-edge innovations, and foster new collaborations.
