First-year students from the Department of Foreign Languages at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communications, Osh State University, enhanced their English proficiency and gained valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, fluency, and emotional intelligence. To support this development, the institute organized a winter language camp from January 23 to 25.

As part of the program, representatives from the Ministry of Emergency Situations provided guidance on appropriate responses to extreme situations, while a psychologist conducted an art therapy session to help students recognize their emotions and foster creativity. The camp, initiated as a social project by the Department of Phonetics and Grammar of the English Language, aimed to enrich students’ academic and personal growth.
