At Osh State University, the "MD STUDIO" modern dance studio has recently launched. Zhyldyz Artykova, the vice-rector for working with the student community, Erlan Kamalov, the director of the Youth Business Park, and students all attended the opening ceremony.
The dance studio is the result of the start-up project of Shoyatbek Kyzy Mayram, a third-year student at the Financial and Law College.
Mairam submitted an actual proposal after completing three streams of training in the youth business park. In Osh, Bishkek, Kazakhstan, and Turkey, she acquired the modern dance knowledge and abilities she needed. At last Mairam was awarded a grant to carry out her business idea.
According to Shoyatbek Kyzy Mairam, the dance studio will teach kids 8 different forms of dance. Conditions for mothers also have been created. While women learn to dance, children will be cared for by special assistants.
"The students expressed a desire to set up a dance studio in the poll that was conducted in response to the outcomes of the previous academic year. Mairam’s project complies with the students' requests," said Zhyldyz Artykova.
The Youth Business Park instructs and mentors lecturers and students in the creation and execution of business ideas. The most successful startups receive help locating funds for implementation.
