Within the framework of the "Skills for Inclusive Development" project, which is sponsored by the Asian Development Bank, the Industrial and Pedagogical College opened its Experience Center today, on November 3.
Edil Baisalov, the deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, and Kanokpan Lao-Araya, the head of the Asian Development Bank's permanent representation in Kyrgyzstan, both gave online congratulatory speeches during the opening ceremony. Almaz Mambetov, the mayor of Osh, Ernis Toltoev, the vice-representative of the president in the Osh, Kudaiberdi Kojobekov, the rector of Osh State University, as well as members of the faculty and students, all attended the ceremony.
The center's sewing studios for the educational and industrial complex, as well as the software and equipment supply manufactures, are located on the first floor. Guest rooms are available on the second floor for visiting lecturers and students from other region colleges who are looking to further their education. Additionally, there is a dorm for students in the remaining area.
“At the university right now, a unique production fusing theory and practice is in operation. Our students, who are trained in both sewing and programming, can combine their studies at the training-production complex with practical experience here. The OshSU brand store will sell the goods that were produced here. I think this would be the best center for the entire region”-, said rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov.
The Industrial and Pedagogical College of OshSU was a participant in the Ministry of Education and Science's "Sector Development Program: Skills for Inclusive Growth" project in 2018, which was supported by the Asian Development Bank. Nowadays The Industrial and Pedagogical College has agreements with 32 different companies.
