The Faculty of Russian Philology hosted a scientific-practical conference titled “Innovation in the field of education: philological aspect” dedicated to Anna Seliverstova's 90th anniversary. Seliverstova was a renowned methodologist, honored teacher of the Kyrgyz Republic, and recipient of the "Danaker" order.
At the conference, Taasilkan Jumabaeva, vice-rector for distance education technologies stated that Anna Seliverstova has a significant role in the advancement of methodical science in the southern region. She also stressed the significance of learning the official language in the advancement of methodical science and the introduction of cutting-edge technologies.
In her paper “Teacher of Teachers, Methodologist, Person”, Nina Eshenova, the director of the OshSU Critical Thinking Laboratory, unveiled Anna Seliverstova's persona and assessed her scholarly and educational endeavors.
The conference's work continued in four topical sections, where around 40 reports were heard and reviewed.
The republican magazine "Russian language and literature in the schools of Kyrgyzstan" will publish the best reports.
