Dear teachers, colleagues and students!
I’d like to sincerely congratulate everyone on the Nowruz holiday, which brightens up everyone and everything and turns the world green.
Nowruz has always been a time of revival, renewal and good wishes. On March 21, our ancestors observed the start of a new year and praised the Creator and Life. They hoped that good would triumph over evil and that truth would triumph over lie, just as warmth would triumph over cold and light would triumph over darkness. They cultivated the soil, planted seeds, and hoped for kindness for the future. They put an end to their arguments and forgave each other. They set the table and, in a cheerful manner, delivered their family, friends, and neighbors best wishes.
Since time immemorial, guests are expected on this day, and ayran, kattama, kalama, bread, as well as uuz typical of the spring festival, are put on the table, kaymak, honey, kojho, bozo and kumyz are put on the table. We are happy that these heritages are still preserved in our people, and on this day, people celebrate Nowruz holiday by taking whatever white products they can.
This spring is a special spring for our university. Yes, spring came early this year. Therefore, we are obliged to accelerate our actions without falling behind the times. Because our community has a very important and responsible moment, that is, we are obliged to conscientiously fulfill the trust given to us by the head of state, strengthen our previous achievements, implement our efforts, and take an important step. Those steps are aimed at pushing our country to new heights and bright life.
We can improve Osh State University and build a bright future of Kyrgyzstan only when we are united and rely on unity.
Therefore, may the Nowruz inspire us and increase the livelihood of our people! Let abundance and blessings be given to our state! May our people be safe!
At the end of my speech, I will say my wish in the form of a blessing on the Great Day of the Nation: I wish for achievements, success, respect for the elder, respect for the younger, and warmth in our community! May OshSU be a center of harmony!
Sincerely, the rector of Osh State University, professor Kozhobekov Kudaiberdi Gaparalievich.
