On 7-9 June in Turin, Italy, a seminar on capacity building and peer learning to support the digital competencies of teachers as part of the European Year of Skills is being conducted.
The aim of the seminar is to reform digital education with modern policy options for implementing, launching, and monitoring digital education initiatives, adapting to the dynamics and characteristics of modern digital ecosystems.
The representatives of the Ministries of Education and Science in Central Asian countries took part at the workshop. From the Kyrgyz Republic, employees of the Department of Primary Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Republican Scientific and Methodological Center, the Kyrgyz Academy of Education, and Osh State University participated.
The participants of the seminar mastered 4 modules: the framework of the reform of digital education of the European Training Foundation; a digital competency framework for citizens learning to use the DigComp tool; DigCompEdu digital competency framework for teachers; digital competence self-assessment tools for educational service providers and teachers.
During the seminar, the participants discussed topics such as digital inclusion, the views of young people from Central Asian countries on digital experience in the field of education, digital competencies of teachers, digital literacy.
