Osh State University Opens Dissertation Council for Surgery Specialty
A dissertation council for defending theses in the specialty of surgery (14.01.17) has been established at Osh State University, with the International Higher Medical School serving as a co-organizer. This initiative was approved by the National Certification Commission under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Professor Bayyshbek Osumbekov, a Doctor of Medical Sciences and head of the surgical diseases department at Osh State University, was appointed as the council’s chairman. Professor Shamil Chyngyshpaev of the International Higher Medical School was named deputy chairman.
Currently, Osh State University also hosts dissertation councils for other specialties, including 14.01.21 – physiatry, 14.01.21 – hematology, 14.01.22 – rheumatology, 14.03.01 – human anatomy, and 14.03.02 – pathological anatomy, cell biology, cytology, and histology.
