“Care Week” has begun at the Industrial and Pedagogical College of Osh State University, organized by lecturers from the social work and pre-conscription training departments in honor of Social Worker Day on October 19.
The opening day featured two events: “First Step to Social Work” and “Social Worker Today and Tomorrow.” Students shared insights about their profession and discussed current social issues.
Later in the week, students will participate in “Short Film, Big Thoughts,” where short films on social challenges will be screened. Guest lectures are scheduled for the fourth day.
The week will conclude with a charity fair, “Food Prepared with Good Intentions,” where students will cook and sell homemade food. The proceeds will be used to buy supplies for those in need.
