Youth of Various Nationalities Celebrated Cultural Diversity at Osh State University
On April 8, Osh State University hosted the “Cultures of the Peoples of the World” competition, bringing together students and staff of diverse nationalities, including international exchange students and university employees from different cultural backgrounds.
Participants showcased their heritage through displays of traditional cuisine, clothing, musical instruments, crafts, and other cultural and historical items. The event also featured performances of national dances, songs, and instrumental music, as well as theatrical presentations reflecting the unique traditions of each culture.
At the conclusion of the event, winners were selected by a judging panel and awarded diplomas for first, second, and third places, along with monetary prizes.
The event aimed to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of different nations, highlighting their traditions, history, art, and spiritual values. It also provided a platform for attendees to experience various cultures firsthand and foster unity, friendship, and mutual understanding among peoples.
