The current state of the dual education process at Osh State University was discussed, achievements and problems were identified, and directions for the future were given.

The event was attended by Ruslan Arapbaev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Tolkun Papieva, Head of the Strategic Planning Department for Academic Development and Educational Policy, heads of institutes, faculties and colleges, programme directors, as well as partners implementing dual education (specialists from the city education department and school teachers).

They noted that dual education is not only a combination of theory and practice, but also an important mechanism for improving the quality of knowledge.

Thus, a new start-up project has been launched at the University's Institute of Pedagogy, Art and Journalism, aimed at families with young children and students of pedagogical specialities. This initiative, called ‘With a Student Sister!’, creates conditions for temporary childcare for parents in the evenings, especially during holidays and celebrations. The project is being implemented as part of the dual education programme.

The event on 14 October was organised jointly by the University's Practice and Career Centre and the Industrial and Pedagogical College.
