From October 22 to 26, representatives of Osh State University conducted a scientific and educational visit to Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
During the trip, Abdurashit Nizamiyev, Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences, Physical Culture, Tourism, and Agricultural Technologies, presented a report on “The Transition to a Green Economy in Kyrgyzstan: Synchronization of State Strategy and Scientific Research” at the Aini Tajik State Pedagogical University.
He also delivered a speech at the plenary session of the International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “Natural Resources – the Main Factor in the Socio-Economic Development of Tajikistan.”
The OshSU delegation included Professor Abdurakhmat Nizamiev and Associate Professor Elmurat Obdunov.
As part of the scientific program, participants visited vineyards and the Nurek Hydroelectric Power Plant in the city of Tursunzade. They also traveled to the Yagnob National Nature Park, situated in the upper reaches of the Yagnob River, where they learned about the traditional way of life and cultural heritage of the Yagnob people, descendants of the ancient Sogdians.
This visit strengthened academic and cultural ties between Osh State University and partner institutions in Tajikistan, fostering further cooperation in the fields of science, ecology, and sustainable development.
