Osh State University Expands Cooperation with Nanjing Institute of Technology

A delegation from Osh State University, led by Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, paid a working visit to Nanjing Institute of Technology in China. The delegation included eight faculty members and four students from the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and Information Technology.

On November 4, the parties discussed the development of joint educational programs, including a 2+2 undergraduate program and a 1+2 master’s program in mathematics and physics at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. They also exchanged proposals on co-authoring research publications, implementing joint research projects, and involving international supervisors in doctoral programs.

On November 5, a joint review and approval of the Big Data Analytics curriculum took place at the Faculty of Information Technology. In addition, new collaborative initiatives in robotics and artificial intelligence were discussed at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence.

During the visit, faculty members and students of Osh State University were introduced to student-led projects at Nanjing Institute of Technology and participated in a practical robotics workshop. Upon completion, participants received certificates.

Cooperation between Osh State University and Nanjing Institute of Technology was formalized through an agreement signed in 2024, and both sides expressed readiness to further expand academic and scientific collaboration.
