Teachers from the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication at Osh State University, Zamira Sabiralieva and Syuta Abdykadyrova, took part in the 13th International Cultural, Educational, and Scientific Forum “Slavic Meetings,” which was held at Francisk Skorina Gomel State University.
At the plenary session, Z. M. Sabiralieva delivered a welcoming speech and presented commemorative souvenirs to the organizers. S. R. Abdykadyrova delivered a report titled “Gender Stereotypes in the Proverbs and Sayings of Slavic and Turkic Peoples.”Participation in this large-scale international forum made it possible to broaden the horizons of scientific cooperation, discuss current trends in the development of science and culture, strengthen professional and personal ties, and identify prospects for further international collaboration and the implementation of joint projects.
Among the organizers and honored guests of the event were leading philologists and linguists, Doctors of Philology and Professors V. M. Mokienko, V. A. Maslova, V. I. Koval, M. I. Konyushkevich, M. Yu. Kotova, and others.During the event, contacts were established with the university administration, as well as with representatives of universities in Russia and Belarus.
