The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for External Relations Kursantbek Attokurov, the dean of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Faculty, and faculty members.
The parties discussed cooperation between the two universities. In particular, they considered developing academic mobility programs for students and teachers, opening language courses, and launching joint educational programs. Special attention was also given to exchanging experience in education and personnel training.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue their cooperation. According to the plan, a cooperation agreement will be signed in August in Kashgar. Representatives of Osh State University have been invited to attend.
Kashgar University is one of the largest higher education institutions in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. More than 40,000 students study there, and over 2,300 teachers work at the university.
