At a forum in Bishkek titled “Secondary Vocational Education in Kyrgyzstan: Current State and Prospects,” representatives of Osh State University presented proposals on preparing colleges for the transition to a 12-year education system.

Participants discussed updating curricula, creating a unified educational space, revising specialties, and improving graduates’ competitiveness in the labor market. Issues such as dual education, academic mobility, double-degree programs, and digital technologies in education were also considered.

The forum brought together ministry officials, college leaders, accreditation agencies, and employers to identify solutions and strengthen cooperation in vocational education.
