Head of the Department of General History and Methods of Teaching History, Associate Professor Gulzada Jumashova, held a master class for school teachers in Kara-Kulja district.
The session focused on the advantages of 12-year education, interactive teaching methods aimed at developing students’ analytical and critical thinking, and competency-based education principles. Participants were also introduced to modern approaches in teaching history, including the use of digital technologies, working with historical sources, group discussions, and methods to increase student engagement.
The master class was held within the regional seminar for history teachers titled “A nation without history has no identity, a land without roots has no future,” organized according to the education institute’s work plan.
