Osh State University and China's Xinjiang Medical University have agreed to elevate their cooperation in the field of medicine to a new level. The two sides also discussed establishing a Kyrgyz-Chinese Medical Center at the university's new seven-story clinic in the near future.
On July 4, a delegation from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University, led by Mi Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Xu Jingxuan, Director of the Clinical Center for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Neurosurgical Diseases, paid a working visit to Osh State University.
The delegation was received by Rector Kudayberdi Kozhobekov. The meeting was attended by the university's administration and representatives of the medical field.
Building on previously signed agreements, the parties discussed further development of medical education, training of healthcare professionals, professional development opportunities, expansion of academic and scientific exchanges, and the joint implementation of research and innovation projects.
Following the meeting, the delegation visited the Faculty of Medicine and the university clinic to familiarize themselves with their educational and clinical facilities.
