75 Scholarships Allocated for Ethnic Kyrgyz Living Abroad
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, on measures to support compatriots living abroad in the fields of education and national culture, 75 state-funded quotas have been allocated for the admission of ethnic Kyrgyz living abroad to higher education institutions for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Ethnic Kyrgyz residing in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the United Arab Emirates are eligible to participate in the competition.
Applicants must register through the "Admission of Ethnic Kyrgyz Living Abroad to Higher Education Institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic for the 2026–2027 Academic Year" section of the Ministry’s online system student.edu.gov.kg. All required documents must be uploaded, and all application fields must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on August 1, 2026.
Required documents:
- A notarized copy of the passport or, if unavailable, the birth certificate, translated into Kyrgyz or Russian;
- A notarized copy of the education certificate (secondary school certificate or diploma) with its transcript, translated into Kyrgyz or Russian;
- Certificate of family composition;
- Certificates, diplomas, awards, or other documents confirming academic achievements (if available);
- Medical certificate (Form No. 086-U);
- Certificate confirming the absence of HIV/AIDS.
Important: Applications with incomplete documentation will be automatically rejected.
Technical review
After the application deadline (11:59 p.m. on August 1, 2026), the Selection Committee will review all submitted applications to verify compliance with the established requirements and the completeness of the required documents.
Only applicants who register on time and upload all required documents will be admitted to the selection process.
Selection process
The competitive selection will be conducted in the form of a computer-based or paper-based test.
The tests will take place on August 11, 12, and 13, 2026. No additional testing will be organized for applicants who fail to appear at the scheduled time.
Applicants who successfully register through student.edu.gov.kg will receive information about the date, time, and venue of the test via their personal account.
