OshSU Receives Award for Promoting the State Language
Osh State University received a 50,000 som award for its contribution to implementing state language legislation and promoting the Kyrgyz language.
The award was presented at an event organized by Osh City Hall to mark September 23 – State Language Day. The award was received by Vice-Rector for State Language and Social Affairs Mastura Sharipova.
In addition, Zhanbolot Kalbaev, a lecturer at the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Information Technologies, won first place in Osh in the competition “The Role of the State Language in the Digital World” and received 30,000 soms.
These achievements were noted as the result of the university’s ongoing efforts to develop and promote the state language.
