An informational session on psychological resilience was held for first-year students of Osh State University’s Medical College on October 13.

Psychologist and educator Askar Bakirov spoke with students about career development and offered advice on psychological resilience, goal-setting, and taking responsibility for their future profession.

College Director Zhanara Kydyrshaeva wished the students success in their studies and noted that the medical profession requires a strong sense of responsibility, compassion, and a caring attitude toward patients.

The event was organized as part of the adaptation week. Training sessions were also held to help students adjust to the new educational environment and develop professional resilience. In addition, students received guidance on the college’s internal regulations, conduct rules, ethics, and dress code.
