Students Complete Dialectology Practicum in Tambov
Second-year students studying Russian Language and Literature under a double-degree program at Osh State University’s Faculty of Russian Philology completed a dialectology practicum at Tambov State University in Russia.
The students explored regional variations of the Russian language and gained experience in collecting and analyzing dialectological materials. They also expanded their intercultural connections and had the opportunity to exchange experiences in an international educational environment.
The visit was organized to deepen the students’ theoretical knowledge of Russian dialects and colloquial speech.The initiative was led by Associate Professor Dilyara Madaminova and the faculty’s practicum supervisor, Chynara Tokurova.
