A ceremony honoring the winners of the student project competition titled "New Information Technologies and State Language" took place today in Osh City Hall.
Mastura Sharipova, vice-rector for social affairs and state language at Osh State University, received a letter of appreciation from the mayor’s office in this case, as well as a financial reward, for her support of the state language and close cooperation.
Ayday Chilaeva, a student at Osh State University's Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies, received a diploma and cash prize for taking first place for the "Robot Waiter" project.
Students from OshSU, OshTU, and OshKUU participated in a competition of student projects designed to promote the state language using new information technologies.
