Journalist Alisher TOKSONBAEV:
We tried our best to cover events in a timely manner
At first, I worked as a freelance journalist. Then the rector Bakyt Beshimov offered to let me take charge of the Nur newspaper, correct and steer it in a stable direction. I accepted his offer because he was my like-minded.
In addition to writing about the deficiencies in the functioning of the university structures, we attempted to immediately reflect the events.
Later, for several years, I was a successful correspondent for the republican newspapers Asaba, Jany Agym, and Maidan, as well as for the international radio station Azattyk (Radio Liberty). The experience I got while working for the student newspaper Nur was then very beneficial to me.
Addressing current students as the future of the country, I would like to wish them to study well and broaden their knowledge. And the most crucial thing is to make the right profession choice. Your future is ultimately determined by it.
