On November 30, the Faculty of Medicine at Osh State University hosted a conference featuring leaders from sanitary control services, employers, and epidemiologists from the Osh and Batken regions.

The event focused on the importance of improving public health. Participants also explored pressing public health issues, challenges in advancing the “Medical and Preventive Work” specialty, and potential solutions to these challenges.

Discussions highlighted the resources and opportunities available to students pursuing medical studies and examined the prospects for the development of public health in the region.

Notable attendees included Nurjamal Mapaeva, Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Youth Policy at OshSU, alongside medical students and their parents.

The conference was organized by the departments of healthcare, epidemiology, microbiology, and infectious diseases. Certificates of honor and letters of gratitude were awarded to top-performing students and their parents, while employers were recognized with Certificates of Honor from the Faculty of Medicine for their collaborative efforts.
