Inclusive Education Discussed at Osh State University

A scientific and practical conference dedicated to inclusive education was held at the Institute of Economics, Business and Management of Osh State University. The event aimed to promote an inclusive environment and remove barriers faced by young people with disabilities.

Key proposals included the modernization of physical and digital infrastructure, enhancement of inclusive education quality, strengthening of legal frameworks, and the development of specialized professional courses and training programs. The conference gathered participants from universities, institutions, civil society organizations, as well as graduate and undergraduate students, who shared findings from their research.

During the conference, findings from the research project titled “Disability Research and Creation of a Virtual Platform for the Information and Consultative Support Center for Young People with Disabilities,” funded by an internal grant from Osh State University, were presented. Additionally, the study “Accessibility of Education in Kyrgyzstan,” conducted by the Association for the Development of Education in Kyrgyzstan, was also discussed.

The event also featured a presentation by the Osh State University Enactus team, showcasing their projects “GFinger” and “GFace.”

The conference was organized by the Social Clinic under the Department of Social Affairs at the Institute of Economics, Business and Management.
