A training session on “Digitization of Financial Activities of Higher Education Institutions in Kyrgyzstan” was held in our university as part of the ERASMUS+ DEFA project (Development of Financial Autonomy of Higher Education Institutions).
The event brought together financial specialists from more than 60 universities across the country, both in online and offline formats. Chief Accountant of Osh State University, Alimzhan Isirailov, took part in the training and shared his experience in digital financial management at the university. He spoke about the ongoing work to automate the financial system, introduce electronic record-keeping, ensure transparency of financial transactions, and transition reporting processes to digital formats.
During the session, participants discussed key issues related to digital management, financial sustainability, and the modernization of financial systems in higher education.
The ERASMUS+ DEFA project aims to enhance the financial autonomy of higher education institutions in Kyrgyzstan by developing modern management practices and introducing innovative digital tools to strengthen efficiency and transparency in the education sector.
