Ancestors' Remembrance Day celebrated
The Industrial-Pedagogical, Financial-Legal and International Educational Programs Colleges of Osh State University celebrated the Day of History and Ancestors on November 7-8.
Presentations and staged scenes explaining the events of the "Urkun" of 1916, the political persecutions of 1930-1938, and the historical significance of the February and October Revolutions were held there. Reports were also read by students.
The purpose of the event was to awaken respect for the homeland and to encourage young people not to forget the past of the nation, but to appreciate historical heritage and take responsibility for future generations.
The Day of Remembrance was initiated by the Social Sciences and Pre-military Training Educational Cycle of the Industrial-Pedagogical College.
