Gulbadan Matieva, a professor at Osh State University and doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, has made significant contributions to the academic and scientific field of Kyrgyzstan. In recognition of her outstanding achievements and dedication to education in the Kyrgyz Republic, Professor Matieva was honored during an event dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's Independence Day and the 80th anniversary of the esteemed statesman Nasirdin Isanov.
At this event, she was awarded with the prestigious title of "Honorary Citizen of Osh Region" and the "Daanyshman" medal. These awards were presented to her by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Akylbek Japarov.
Throughout her career, Professor Gulbadan Matieva has garnered several other notable recognitions, including the Certificate of Honor from the Osh Regional Administration in 2001, the Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic in 1999, the esteemed "Best of Education" badge of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2005, and the Certificate of Honor from the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2014. In 2019, she was recognized as an "Honored Employee of the Kyrgyz Republic." For her remarkable contributions to education and science, Matieva was awarded with the title of "Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic."
Professor Gulbadan Matieva has played an important role in mentoring the young scientists of Kyrgyzstan. Under her supervision, four candidates of science have successfully defended their research theses. Furthermore, Professor Matieva is also the author of 230 scientific articles and monographs.
