Scientists from the Faculty of Theology at Osh State University Gave Presentations

On 11 September, the Ene-Sai Reception House of the Ala-Archa State Residence in Bishkek hosted an international scientific and practical conference entitled “Sirajuddin al-Oshi and His Contribution to Islamic Science.” The event was held as part of the 6th Meeting of the Council of Chairmen of Religious Administrations of the Member States of the Organisation of Turkic States.

At the conference, Associate Professor and Doctor of Theology (PhD) Ali Zhusubaliev from Osh State University delivered a presentation titled “The 10th–12th Centuries: The City of Osh — Socio-Economic and Cultural Context.”
Associate Professor and Doctor of Theology (PhD) Zainabidin Azhimamatov presented a report entitled “The Karakhanid Era: The Development of the Hanafi and Maturidi Madhhabs.”

Dean of the Faculty of Theology, Niyazali Aripov, noted:

“Sirajuddin al-Oshi made an enormous contribution to Islamic doctrine. He skillfully expressed Islamic theology in verse and rhythm, conveying the principles of understanding the Creator and His Oneness as stated in the Quran. His works have survived and reached us through many centuries.”

The event was attended by leaders of religious administrations of the member countries, as well as scholars and researchers of the Turkic world.
