The Third Forum of the Eurasian Network University Consortium has begun at Osh State University

The forum is attended by leaders of the Eurasian Network University (EAEU), deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, representatives of relevant ministries and departments of Russia and Kyrgyzstan, rectors of leading Russian and Kyrgyz universities, as well as experts and specialists.

First, guests viewed an exhibition in front of the main university building showcasing scientific projects by faculty members, students, and start-ups. The International Forum is an important annual event dedicated to strengthening and developing cooperation between higher education institutions, government agencies, business circles, and representatives of civil society in the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The event is being held for the third time with the aim of deepening cooperation between science, education, and business, implementing industry-specific higher education programs, and developing retraining and professional development programs for specialists in line with labor market requirements. The forum will feature a strategic session entitled ‘Technological Breakthrough in the EAEU: Integration of Education, Science and Business,’ an international scientific and practical conference titled ‘The Future of Eurasian Integration: Strategies for Implementing Scientific, Academic and Business Initiatives,’ expert reports, and a meeting of the ESU Coordination Council.Additionally, a number of international agreements are expected to be signed, and a joint statement on the creation of the Association of Scientists, Engineers and Entrepreneurs ‘EAEU Centre for Innovative Technologies’ is expected to be adopted.
