Osh State University Students Showcase Works on Environmental Protection
On October 19, students of the Medical Faculty at Osh State University participated in a competition focused on environmental protection, the biosphere, and biodiversity.
Over 70 creative works in fine arts, social videos, and photography were submitted.
The top entries were recognized and awarded during an event held on Bioethics Day. During the conference, participants received expert feedback on environmental responsibility and the impact of the environment on human health. Reports also highlighted public health concerns in Osh and the city’s ongoing greening initiatives.
Representatives from relevant government agencies shared insights on environmental safety efforts, stressing that maintaining a clean and healthy environment is the responsibility of every citizen.
The competition and conference were organized by the Faculty of Medicine in collaboration with the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, aiming to raise awareness and encourage active engagement in environmental protection among students.
