At the Eurasian Forum of Industry Universities, held at Osh State University on October 22, Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov proposed the creation of an Association of Scientists, Engineers, and Entrepreneurs from the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
The initiative, titled the “Center for Innovative Technologies,” received strong support from the forum participants.
The new association will aim to foster the development of applied science and promote the implementation of advanced global scientific practices. Membership will be open to higher education institutions, research organizations, and entrepreneurs interested in innovation and technological progress.
Rector Kozhobekov’s proposal aligns with the strategic framework program for the long-term scientific and technological development of the EAEU, approved by the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission on September 12 of this year. The project seeks to consolidate the efforts of EAEU member states, encourage joint research and innovation projects, accelerate technological advancement, and strengthen scientific collaboration across the region.
This initiative also supports the objectives of the Eurasian Economic Path 2045 program, contributing to the positive image of the EAEU and furthering Eurasian economic integration.
