As part of a working visit to China, Rector of Osh State University Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov took part in the opening of the Center for Renewable Energy Development in Central Asia at Nanjing Institute of Technology. The center was established jointly by Osh State University and Nanjing Institute of Technology to promote cooperation in research and innovation in the field of renewable energy.
On November 6, the university delegation also participated in the scientific and practical conference titled “Training Highly Qualified Specialists at Nanjing Institute of Technology and Osh State University.” During the conference, Rector Kojobekov delivered a presentation and emphasized the importance of academic cooperation, joint research, and training programs for specialists in priority scientific fields.
As part of the event, two jointly developed academic publications were presented: “An Overview of Artificial Intelligence (Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence)” and “An Overview of Big Data Technologies (Fundamentals of Big Data Technologies).” The books, authored by researchers from the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and Information Technology of both universities, are published in Chinese and Russian. The authors received Honorary Certificates from Nanjing Institute of Technology in recognition of their scholarly collaboration.
During the conference, Director of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and Information Technology, Bektur Azimov, delivered a presentation on “Expanding Strategic Partnerships and Their Prospects.” Meanwhile, Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, and Graphic Design, Tolkunbek Zholdoshov, spoke on “The Current State of the Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Industry in Kyrgyzstan: Prospects, Opportunities, and Challenges.”
The working visit of the Osh State University delegation continues with meetings and collaborative activities aimed at further strengthening academic and research partnership.
The conference gathered university rectors from China, scientists, and representatives of leading international manufacturing companies.
