Training on Public-Private Partnership Projects Held

On December 11, a training titled “Structuring and Managing Public-Private Partnership Projects in the Kyrgyz Republic: Theory and Practice” was held at Osh State University.

The event was attended by civil servants from the Batken and Jalal-Abad regions, representatives of district administrations and mayor’s offices of Osh region, staff of the Economics Department, and members of the OshSU Business Park.

During the training, participants received information on methods of developing projects implemented within the PPP legislation, current challenges, and practical recommendations. Experts discussed the advantages of PPP mechanisms, ways to attract investment, and factors to consider when designing new projects.

Participants emphasized that the training was organized at a high level and noted that such events strengthen cooperation between the public sector, private sector, and universities in the regions. They also highlighted that it contributes to enhancing human capacity and improving the quality of socio-economic projects.

The training was organized by the Public-Private Partnership Center under the National Investment Agency, the Business Park of Osh State University, and with the support of the Eurasian Development Bank, based on the instructions of the Presidential Administration.
