In 2025, the Osh State University Center for Natural Resources, with the support of Rector K.G. Kozhobekov, built and commissioned a 60 kW hybrid solar power plant on the roof of the Osh State University Robotics Center building.
Additionally, four university staff members completed training in solar power plant construction, successfully completed their internship, and received a certificate.
In the future, Osh State University may build its own solar power plant.
Currently, this plant provides the academic building with sufficient solar energy.
In the future, the generated solar energy will be sold to the state.
