Glorifying Ancient Uzgen
The ethno-folklore festival "Uzgen - Minaret-2022" includes the international scientific conference "Ancient Uzgen and the minaret of Imam Sirakhsi," which got underway today at Osh State University.
The event is attended by representatives of authorities headed by the The State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic, Suyunbek Kasmambetov, the General Secretary of the International Organization TURKSOY Sultan Raev, the President of the Eurasian Writers Union, Yakub Omeroglu, Rector of Pamukkale University Ahmet Kutlukhan, Rector of Osh State University Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, historians, researchers, theologians, religious and cultural figures, and representatives of international organizations.
A collaboration agreement between Osh State University, the international organization of Turkic culture known as TURKSOY, and Pamukkale University is anticipated to be signed at the international conference.
In order to promote national culture and share national historical and cultural legacy with the populace and the global community, the ethno-folklore festival "Uzgen - Minaret-2022" is being organized for the second time.
