Osh State University celebrated the inauguration of the “Scopus Research Hub”, a resource center dedicated to serving the southern region. This center is staffed with specialists who are poised to assist researchers in navigating the vast international information database, Scopus, aiding in the search for authors, articles, and journals.
Maksat Totobaev, the head of the Ratings Department, highlighted the center’s role in providing authors with essential information on publication opportunities, including insights into where articles can be published. The establishment of this center is seen as a significant step in addressing various challenges and creating new avenues to enhance the quality of scientific articles. It is anticipated that this improvement will contribute to Osh State University’s recognition and potential inclusion in the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) rating.
Notably, the services offered by the center are available to lecturers from universities across the southern region. This broader accessibility is expected to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among educators in the region.
The opening ceremony attracted distinguished guests, including Marat Fatkhullin, the Vice President of Global Strategic Networks of the Elsevier International Information Base, Chinar Kivanch, Director of Informascope, Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, and leaders and representatives from universities in the southern region.
