From November 11 to 17, a delegation from Osh State University’s Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communications, led by Gulzhan Koichumanova, head of the Interfaculty Department of Kyrgyz Language, visited Turkey for a working trip. The group participated in the V International Symposium on Social Sciences and Arts of Eurasia, held in Antalya.
Koichumanova reported that representatives from 40 prominent scientific organizations took part in the symposium. The event featured presentations on recent research in social sciences and the arts, an “Art Therapy” exhibition, and displays of fine art. Osh State University faculty members, including Gulzhan Koichumanova, Patila Zhenalieva, Altynkyz Mamatova, and Aichurok Kenjebaeva, delivered reports and contributed proposals during the sessions.
During their visit, the delegation also engaged with Turkish academic institutions. At Belek University, they discussed collaboration opportunities within the Erasmus program, focusing on academic mobility and cooperation. In Ankara, they met with Hacı Bayram Veli University leaders to explore avenues for bilateral partnership.
