Today, on November 23rd, the inauguration of the Chyngyz Aitmatov Kyrgyz Language and Culture Center occurred at the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature. The event saw the presence of a delegation from Osh State University, led by Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, alongside representatives from the academic staff of Tashkent State University, headed by Rector Shukhrat Sirojiddinov.
This center has been furnished with essential materials and technical resources, displaying pertinent state symbols and a diverse range of literature that portrays the history and culture of the Kyrgyz people.
Both parties highlighted the significance of these centers in fortifying and advancing cultural connections between the two nations.
The establishment of the Uzbek language and culture center at Osh State University and the Kyrgyz language and culture center at Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, are part of joint initiatives celebrating the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two friendly nations.
Presently, Osh State University actively engages in collaborations with 40 universities in Uzbekistan.
