Osh State University has partnered with the Nanjing Institute of Technology under a “2+2” program agreement, signed on May 29 by Osh State University Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov and Pu Liese, the deputy secretary of the party committee of the Nanjing Institute of Technology in China. The signing took place during a meeting at Osh State University.
At the event, graduates of the “2+2” program expressed their commitment to enhancing the friendship and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China.
The agreement focuses on training specialists in logistics, software engineering, and artificial intelligence, and includes provisions for academic mobility of students and lecturers.
In April, Rector Kozhobekov visited the Nanjing Institute of Technology. Under this multilateral agreement, an institute was opened at Osh State University to train bachelors in engineering and technology for renewable energy sources, information engineering, software development, and logistics, addressing current industry demands.
Representatives from the Nanjing Institute of Technology will also participate in events celebrating the 85th anniversary of Osh State University.
