Minister of Education and Science D. Kendirbaeva honored employees of Osh State University by presenting awards to about 50 lecturers, who received the “The Best of Education” badge and a certificate of honor. These awards recognize the significant contributions these educators have made to the development of the university, their notable achievements in the field of education, and their years of dedicated service.

In her speech, the minister highlighted the university’s excellence: “The Osh State University community prepares outstanding specialists who contribute to the country’s growth and development. OshSU is a premier higher education institution in Central Asia, and we, in Kyrgyzstan, are proud of it. Happy 85th anniversary. We foresee that future Nobel Prize winners will emerge from this school. As we transform the education sector, we have great confidence in your institution,” she said.

The 85th anniversary of OshSU will be celebrated on May 31 with various events. These include the opening of the Future Generation HAB center, an exhibition, and an international forum featuring 67 domestic business companies and representatives from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, China, and Turkey. The celebrations will culminate in a grand concert at the Suyumbaev central stadium.
