The book “From OshSU to the Media...” has been published

The book “From OshSU to the Media...” dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Osh State University has been published. The mentioned book contains the student years, achievements, thoughts and wishes of journalists who studied at OshSU and are currently working in the media.

“As part of the celebration of the 85th anniversary of Osh State University, we are publishing a book about our graduates who studied at our school and are now working fruitfully in the field of journalism. This happened for a reason. In 2014, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Osh State University, on the initiative of the former rector Kanybek Isakov, the first edition of this book was published. Continuing this initiative of our master, we are re-issuing it for the 85th anniversary,” noted the rector of OshSU, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, in the preface to the book.

The book was presented to guests at 4th panel session of the international business forum organized for the 85th anniversary of the OshSU “The Impact of Mass Media on Promoting the Integration of Business, Government, Education and Science.”

The book was recommended for publication by a decision of a meeting of the University Academic Council; the total volume is 146 pages. Editors - Nurjamal Mapaeva, vice-rector for public work and youth policy, Zinagul Nuralieva, press secretary of OshSU, Chinara Abdieva, associate professor of the department of journalism and Duishen Bektemir uulu, designer. The book was published by the publishing department “Bilim” of OshSU.
