Kyrgyzstan’s Youth Volleyball Team Wins First Place at International Championship

The Kyrgyzstan under-20 youth volleyball team clinched first place at the International CAVA Championship held in Male.

The team participated under the guidance of head coach Ulanbek uulu Kursantbek, who is also a lecturer at Osh State University.

Among the team members were Aicholpon Turdalieva and Bakytbek kyzy Aiperi, both second-year students at the Institute of Natural Sciences, Physical Education, Tourism, and Agricultural Technologies, and the Institute of Philology and International Communications of Osh State University, respectively.

In the initial round, they triumphed over the Republic of Maldives team with a 3-0 score, followed by another 3-0 victory against Nepal in the second round. They defeated Sri Lanka with a 3-2 score in the third round.

The team secured a 3-0 win against Nepal in the semi-finals and decisively beat Sri Lanka 3-0 in the final match to become the champions of the competition.
