OshSU Ranks Among Top 3 Universities in Eurasia
Osh State University has secured second place in the “IAAR Eurasian University Ranking - 2024,” positioning it among the top three universities in Eurasia. The ranking evaluates universities based on their scientific potential, global standing, quality of educational programs, and academic mobility for both faculty and students. Other factors include graduate competitiveness, transparency, objectivity, and the accessibility of information sources.
The IAAR Eurasian University Ranking is an annual assessment. In 2024, universities from countries such as Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, India, Turkey, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and others participated. Osh State University had previously ranked in the top ten in 2021 and claimed third place in 2022-2023.
This independent university ranking reflects the institution’s academic quality, reputation, and standing with students and employers, fostering a competitive and innovative educational and research environment. Such rankings aim to enhance education quality and the competitiveness of universities while providing the public with insights into how well these institutions meet market demands.
