On October 15, the Kyrgyz-Russian Educational Forum concluded with the participation of Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, Rasul Abazbek uulu, and Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia, Konstantin Mogilevsky.
At the closing ceremony, participants reviewed the forum’s outcomes and adopted a resolution. Several universities signed roadmaps, memorandums, and agreements aimed at forming consortiums.
As part of the forum, the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy hosted an exhibition titled “Russian Education” and organized a roundtable on its own education quality management system, as well as discussions on the impact of air pollution on public health. Nikolay Karyakin, Rector of the Privolzhsky Research Medical University, also delivered a lecture. Kyrgyz and Russian medical universities established a Kyrgyz-Russian consortium of medical institutions.
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University focused on supporting student entrepreneurship, advancing partnerships in engineering schools, biotechnology, and projects within the Eurasian context, with discussions on intercultural competence and student motivation.
At the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K. Scriabin, discussions covered food engineering, biotechnology, energy and food security, digital technologies in agriculture, and the development of networked postgraduate schools. Agricultural universities from both countries formed a consortium to further these goals.
Held in Bishkek on October 14-15, the forum aimed to strengthen educational partnerships and advance joint projects.
