Baibolot Abytov, a professor at Osh State University, has received a prestigious state award.
On December 23, during a ceremony at the “Yntymak Ordo” presidential administration in Bishkek, he was bestowed with the honorary title of “Honored Worker of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic.” This recognition highlights his significant contributions to the country’s socio-economic, intellectual, and cultural development, as well as his exceptional professional achievements.
At 62 years old, Abytov serves as a professor in the Department of Oriental Studies at the Institute of Oriental Studies at Osh State University. He also leads the “Oriental Manuscripts and Heritage” Foundation.
With over 400 scientific articles and 12 monographs and books to his name, Abytov has made a remarkable impact in academia. He has supervised the successful defense of 11 candidate dissertations and currently advises two doctoral theses.
