Students Showcase Creativity at Cosplay Festival
A cosplay festival took place on November 22 among the students of the Industrial and Pedagogical College at Osh State University. Participants showcased their creativity by crafting unique costumes and presenting their designs to the audience.
The creations were assessed by a panel of judges, and the most outstanding participants received diplomas. The event was primarily attended by students specializing in design, modeling, and sewing technology. The festival aimed to foster creativity and boost students’ self-confidence.
Cosplay is steadily gaining traction in Kyrgyzstan, with cities like Bishkek hosting cosplay festivals, workshops, and themed events. These gatherings are particularly popular among fans of anime and gaming.
Cosplay involves designing and wearing costumes inspired by characters from video games, movies, anime, comics, and cartoons, combining craftsmanship with performance art.
