From January 20 to 22, Associate Professor Farida Aliyeva of the Interfaculty Kyrgyz Language Department at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication, along with senior lecturers Gulnara Tolubaeva and Urkuya Muratalieva, paid a working visit to the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University.
During their visit, the delegation explored the university’s library collection and its historical and local history museum. They also met with faculty members from the Department of Theory and Methodology of Kazakh Linguistics and Kazakh Literature at the Institute of Philology. Discussions focused on training programs, teaching resources, and potential collaboration within the Kaztest system.
The two universities, through their respective interfaculty departments of Kyrgyz language and Kazakh linguistics, reached an agreement to collaborate in scientific and pedagogical fields.
Additionally, a presentation was delivered showcasing the history, achievements, current projects, infrastructure, and Kyrgyz language teaching initiatives of Osh State University. The Vice-Rector of the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University shared positive feedback about Osh State University and emphasized the importance of strengthening ties further.
The visit was conducted under the framework of a memorandum of cooperation between the two institutions.
