T. Alymkan Jamshitbekova, a teacher of the Department of Interdepartmental Physical Education of Osh State University, took the 2nd place, and Aisyrga Matamarova, a student of the Faculty of Law, took the 2nd place in the relay race at the XXIV International Competition dedicated to Kolpakova.
Almazbek Kazibek, a teacher and coach at the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Education, said: "In addition, my students Sadykjan uulu Shahzatbek, graduated from Osh State University, a teacher of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University and Ruslan Abdusattarov, a 10th grade student of 52 school, won gold medals in this competition."
Tatiana Kolpakova was an Olympic champion in the long jump at the Moscow Olympics. Every year Bishkek hosts an international tournament for the prize of Olympic champion Tatiana Kolpakova. This is the only tournament in Central Asia for athletes to qualify for the Olympics.
